Network. Think Tank. Platform.

Credivo is an ecumenical think tank and meeting space dedicated to forging new paths for faith communication in a postmodern and digitalized society. We connect theology with the public sphere—interdisciplinary, dialogue-driven, and evidence-based.

Dialogue. Reflection. Innovation.

We foster dialogue and organize labs for in-depth debates. As a platform, we provide inspiration by recommending other organizations as well as reading suggestions. As a Think Space, we provide interdisciplinary exchange between faith and society.

Impulsive. Contemporary. Dialogue-Centric.

The name Credivo is derived from Credo, Innovation, and vivo (vibrant/alive). Our vision is for faith communication to become more vibrant, relevant, and increasingly digital, especially for those outside the church who seek contemporary engagement.

Our non-denominational network of multipliers develops methods to convey the Christian faith in word, deed, image, and sound—including through music and art.

At our core are our commitments to Jesus Christ and a readiness for dialogue. We view ourselves as a catalyst for new ideas (Impulsgeber) and a platform for discussion. We connect leaders and creative thinkers from theology, culture, media, politics, church, and business.

What unites them is the search for a credible communication of faith in today's world.

Engage. Support. Interdenominational.

Credivo was founded to create a new space to discuss faith issues —beyond traditional religious bubbles and church administration. We are an independent, non-denominational association dedicated to re-establishing dialogue between faith and society.

You can engage and support our work in various ways—as an Advisory Board Member, Patron, or an Active Voice within the network.

In my role as Media Bishop, I see myself as a bridge-builder between various societal groups. A credible communication of our faith in word and deed is a vital concern for me. And I hope that this initiative can convey many new, creative impulses, even beyond church boundaries.
»
Auxiliary Bishop Josef Stübi, Member of the Swiss Bishops' Conference
«
Our church is innovative: We have created a position for a start-up church with the mandate to 'Try new things!'. I am delighted about this Think Tank for creative ideas on how the Christian message of hope can be credibly passed on, even to people outside the church.
»
Christina Aus der Au, President of the Church Council, Evangelical Church of Thurgau
«
I have been involved with this Think Tank since the initial steering group. As a long-time director of the VBG (Swiss Association of Evangelical Students and Academics), it has always been my goal to credibly communicate the Good News of Jesus Christ, especially to students and academics. The broad support for this Think Space and the personal exchange with figures from all churches and professional groups is highly encouraging for me.

All Christian churches and movements are seeking a renewed, biblically grounded language for the Gospel, interwoven with the issues of our time. Only through joint dialogue can we find new words and ways. That is why I welcome this ecumenical and multi-professional initiative.

Dr. Thorsten Dietz, Adult Education, Reformed Church of the Canton of Zurich

Jesus would have been frequently featured in the 'Blick' newspaper! – Churches are insufficiently present in people's everyday lives. They provide answers to questions no one asked and often speak a language that isn't understood. To change this, I am actively involved in this important Think Tank."

My wish is to network people outside or on the fringes of the churches in the digital space. We must shape faith communication so that socially relevant topics are given room. This Think Tank helps to proclaim the Christian message today in a hopeful and relevant way

«
Credivo – the interdenominational forum for faith communication – deliberately breaks down the silos between church/theology, media, business, art/culture, and politics. The targeted networking of key people strengthens the relevance and credibility of Christian witness in all areas of society.
